Free’s tracking page, one-click delivery steps, and courier list keep working exactly as they do today; Pro adds automatic sending, courier import, the update endpoint, and delivery estimates on top. You can keep recording delivery steps exactly as you do with Free and let Pro send the update, or go further with a courier CSV import or the delivery-update endpoint so steps are recorded for you, not just sent for you. Either way, nothing about how your orders actually get delivered changes — only who tells the customer, and when. Dispatchable Order Messaging Pro is a separate, optional purchase, not a requirement — connect it and Pro’s automatic updates go out on WhatsApp instead of just email, with every other setting working exactly the same either way.

No. Order status changes never trigger these updates, and recording a delivery step — automatically imported or pushed through the endpoint, same as one you click yourself — never changes your order’s status. The two stay completely separate, in Free and in Pro.
Yes, with Dispatchable Order Messaging for WooCommerce Pro 0.3.0 or newer connected: choose an approved template per delivery step, or let Pro create the shipped, out-for-delivery, and delivery-failed templates for you in English, French, Arabic, or Spanish. Without it, or if a WhatsApp send fails, the step’s email still goes out.
Nothing is sent. The automatic update is queued two minutes after a step is recorded specifically so an accidental click or a quick correction never reaches the customer.
